I paid $1.69 each for two half-gallon cardboard cartons of milk.
Milk seems to be cheaper out west than it is in Delosa. I remember when I first moved to Deseret I kept reading articles about how much milk prices have risen and didn’t know what they were talking about. I’d paid the same that I’d always paid. I came to find out that milk prices had spiked right about at the time of the move and that if I’d still been in Delosa I would be paying 50c more. I don’t know how well prices in Cascadia match up, though, which is why I am asking for your input:

I’m afraid I can’t be of much help, because the only milk we buy is of the soy variety 🙂
A half-gallon of soy milk generally runs around $3.50 to $4.00. Not cheap, but our consumption is quite low, so it doesn’t really matter.
I just purchased half-gallon of Tuscan brand milk at a local 7-11 for $1.99. IIRC, it’s $2.19 at Stop & Shop…
I typically get 2% at $2.50/gal. or less. I never paid much attention to the brand.
I think we usually get half gallons for about $1.99. However, if you live in HI and can’t shop at the commissary (and don’t want a ton from Costco), it’s about $6/gallon.
