How you reckon I convince Clancy that our next vacation needs to be to Quebec?

Without mentioning the real reason as to why?

Unfortunately, I let it slip when I recommended New Orleans (See #4) and now I’m not sure if I’ll ever convince her to go…

    I actually had poutine a few times when I was a teen, there being many people from Quebec in the city where I lived. It’s definitely on the gross side. You probably have to have grown up eating it regularly to like it.

    Despite visiting Canada and having cousins in poutine land, I’ve yet to experience said delicacy…

    Regardless, Quebéc City is downright beautiful, and it’s a small quaint, beautiful city with some European charm*, and outside of the city, one can find Île d’Orléans which features beautiful bucolic landscapes.

    Besides, it’s only two hours away from Montreal. 🙂

    *French people who emigrate from France used to view Quebéc as a French haven in a sea of Anglo-Saxons. They tend to return back to France viewing Quebec as a Francophone United States…
