It looks like the fishy CBS press release about Lara Logan’s “brutal and sustained sexual assault” was indeed a lie. Finally, we have an account from some actual witnesses. Temoris Grecko blogged about what he and others saw:

I was buying tea from a vendor in Tahrir with two friends, Amr Fekry, a 26 year old Egyptian call center agent, and Andi Walden, a San Francisco political science student. Then we heard the noise and saw the mob coming. A blonde woman, neatly dressed with a white coat, was being dragged and pushed. It didn’t seem to me she was panicking, but rather trying to control the situation. They passed us in an moment. They were yelling “agent!, agent!”

I tried to run to intervene, but some Egyptians I didn’t know prevented me from doing it. There was nothing I could do and, as a foreign journalist, I’d surely end up being accused of being an agent too, and attacked. Fekry did go there and dissapeared into the crowd, 50 or 100 people strong.

Later I spoke with two young male activists who helped the person I later learned was Lara Logan (I didn’t know her before, I don’t usually follow US networks). They were Omar El Shennawy, a 21 year old teacher of English, and Abdulrahman Elsayed, a 25 year old teacher of physical education. They said they had formed a human chain with other young men to protect Logan, and then delivered her to the Egyptian Museum military post.

When I read CBS’s story and it’s interpretation by other media outlets, I felt troubled. It seemed misleading. “It didn’t make sense to me”, said Benjamin Starr, from Boston who arrived as a tourist on January 24th, and stayed to witness the uprising. He also saw the mob pass by with Lara Logan. “I want to give her the benefit of the doubt, maybe something happened in another part of the square, but from what I saw, she was being taken by men to the soldiers, and her clothes were not torn off. There were no women, I didn’t see a single woman in the crowd around her.”

So basically, Logan got roughed up like a hundred other unremarked-on reporters in the area around that time. But for having the bad taste to bear witness to the facts (and against precious Lara’s claim to specialness) Grecko got attacked as a “yellow journalist” by white knight/pretty boy/nepotism hire* Dan Abrams: “Lara Logan Attacked Again, This Time By Yellow Journalists.”

… There is no doubt. It is a fact that Logan was hospitalized with severe injuries. Not a theory, not an allegation not a claim, but a fact. Because Grecko and Starr did not actually see the attack itself and other “activists” with whom Grecko claims to have spoken, did not witness it (or more likely don’t want to believe it), he questions whether it was sexual in nature and whether it happened at all.

A “fact” that she had “severe injuries?” Where does Abrams get this? All we know is Logan reportedly spent four days in a hospital. We have no idea why, and more importantly, we have no report or evidence that any injuries that did occur were sexual. As I noted in a previous post, it’s unlikely a hospital would turn away a woman of Logan’s wealth and fame if she felt the need to stay there for a few days claiming any type of attack.

And ironically, the accounts provided in Grecko’s story provide the only witness accounts of Logan’s attack that have appeared to date. Despite Logan’s claim of being rescued by women and soldiers, not a single person other than Logan herself has corroborated her account of her sexual attack.

Abrams goes on to call Grecko a “charlatan,” and to accuse him of discouraging women from reporting rape. Why, because potential rape claimants will read Grecko’s account and fear they, too, might be discredited by witnesses who saw it not happen? No, I have a lot more fear that underdog journalists like Grecko will be discouraged from reporting the facts because they fear being smeared by wealthy powerhouses like CBS and Abrams.

  1. Paul says:

I think if you look at total facts Lara Logan got jacked by security people in Egyptian Army Intelligence Directorate that arrested her week before and got all real pissed when she came back.

Mubarek’s gone and its a Very New Egypt but last I checked its still run by the bad Very Old Army and their ‘security services.’ I think elements within those outfits are what did this to Logan (at least instigated it) and I think that’s why there’s paucity of info on what happened to her.

It also explains all quiet from US Government. Hillary sends diplomats over and…nothing. Many of the DoD and War on Terror brass Logan calls friends are buddies with the guys who run the police state-Army apparatus now running Egypt. A twisted irony if what I say is true. And it explains a lot of the quiet.

  2. stone says:

Nice theory, Paul, except what about all those women who supposedly threw themselves on her naked body to stop her from getting raped? And we have actual witnesses in Grecko’s article who say *they* handed her over to soldiers and a doctor. So for your theory to be true, they all have to be lying, and all the *real* rescuers and witnesses all intimidated into silence.

Makes a lot more sense that *one* person is lying, and that’s Logan.

  3. stone says:

And keep in mind, Paul, this is a journalist who wrote this article, and the people quoted are people he knew personally or sought out. If there’s this group of organized liars masquerading as regular folks, it’s odd that they haven’t done anything else to get their misinformation out there.

  4. Paul says:

I see where you’re coming from Stone. But what Temoris reports is that he saw Logan for maybe ten seconds, and she was getting pushed around by people calling her an ‘agent.’ And then she disappeared into that crowd again.

Who knows what happened to Logan after Grecko saw her? And, there’s fact Logan went to the hospital. And there’s something fundamentally wrong with several things in official accounts of Logan and Grecko’s account. One, the witnesses who took Logan to soldiers and nurses at the Museum checkpoint. How could that be? Everyone just about in the square agrees that after Hosni punched out the checkpoints were abandoned. So there is disconnect there. And you could say that Logan got jumped right after Hosni punched out, so maybe the checkpoint was still intact? But wait…

That is another disconnect in ‘official’ accounts. When this allegedly all happened was right after Hosni punched out. But Hosni punched out in primetime. It was still twilight in Cairo when Suleiman read it out to the masses. Accounts say Logan got jacked around 1AM. Long after Hosni punched out. WTF?

Another disconnect is who she was going to Cairo to interview? Howard Kurtz says it was Egypt-Google guy Wael Gholim. And indeed Harry Miller for 60 Minutes interviewed Gholim in Logan’s stead. But in Esquire interview Logan herself says she was to interview ‘head of NDP.’ That fellow is someone by the name of Dr. Hossam and he had been in that job only a week. That dude was Logan’s only security-blanket and he was powerless soon as the Hoz was. So a lot of things happened on Logan’s watch between wheels up in DC and whatever happened in that square.

I think same goons who followed/arrested/deported her week before were tracking her again in Cairo and they got her stone, they instigated that mob to blow up in her face and get her something bad I suspect.

The whole story stinks but Logan got jacked for real.

  5. stone says:

“Who knows what happened to Logan after Grecko saw her?”

The witnesses to whom Grecko spoke, that’s who. They saw her handed over to soldiers by men.

If we had *any* other accounts by witnesses who saw otherwise, who countered these eyewitnesses reports, I’d be less suspicious. But there was supposedly this mob, and all these rescuers, and NO ONE has borne witness except the people interviewed by Grecko.

“And, there’s fact Logan went to the hospital.”

Means absolutely nothing. Anyone can go to the emergency room and demand treatment. I have clients all the time who are trying to beg off drug tests or hearings, and they go the hospital to get an excuse.

Again, the question isn’t whether or not she was injured in *any* way. The question is whether it was sexual. We have no evidence it was sexual, aside from the CBS press release. If it wasn’t a sexual attack, Logan would return from being a subject of mandatory sympathy to the ridicule she deserves. Anderson Cooper got made fun of when he got clobbered.

  6. stone says:

“One, the witnesses who took Logan to soldiers and nurses at the Museum checkpoint. How could that be? Everyone just about in the square agrees that after Hosni punched out the checkpoints were abandoned. So there is disconnect there.”

If there is disconnect, it exists in CBS’s account as well, because they said the women who supposedly rescued her brought her to soldiers. No one disputes there were soldiers there in some capacity.

  7. stone says:

And why would Lightweight Lara be singled out for organized government-backed mistreatment over so many more competent, more respected reporters? She’s hardly the biggest threat they face from a journalist.

  8. dudeface says:

Yea, uh, Lara Logan was accompanied by a camera crew and security. I’m pretty sure that, you’re not claiming that one woman blew a story out of proportion but that a team of at least half a dozen people decided together to blow this story out of proportion and to hope to forever dupe the American public in spite of any evidence to the contrary that could be drawn from a crowd of thousands of people who saw the incident. And, we do know there was an incident since Temoris saw her get dragged through the street… which is pretty much all he saw for himself. The rest is just what random dudes with names posted on his Facebook. He doesn’t know any of them. He left for Libya so he never talked to them. If he did talk to them in person, for all we know, they were part of the attack and wanted to pretend they helped her to avoid being implicated. Maybe they were just messing with the wild eyed old man… who is, by the way, primarily a photographer though he does also write. I think too much is being made of this ten second eye-witness account by a guy too afraid to even follow and observe what happened. Maybe those other dudes were telling the truth… maybe… but maybe what they saw happened an hour after what Temoris saw. *shrug*

All in all, Temoris saw pretty much nothing and what he did see (a woman getting dragged toward the museum or something) actually supports Lara’s account more than contradicts it.

You guys are dumb for thinking this is “evidence” that an Emmy winning internationally known foreign correspondent with 18 years of experience who has interviewed Obama and Marky Mark and whoever else needs attention or wanted to slander the revolution she worked so hard to bring to our attention. Use your noddles, dudes. Come on. Why is it always this blame the victim crap. It’s almost never the victim making stuff up in these cases. Like, maybe 2% of all rape charges are fake.

  9. Paul says:

    @dudeface

I totally think Lara Logan got messed up. What I’m saying is it was a targeted affair. Logan wasn’t ‘wrong place wrong time’ in a mob. A fury was instigated against her by some people who consciously singled her out for some reason. I am saying they were the people who detained Logan on her first trip to Egypt. They were undoubtedly following her after she landed again, and they lashed out.

Logan was detained for a full day and deported on her first trip. No other Western journalist was marched down to the airport and actually kicked out of Egypt by the authorities. Her previous experience in Egypt before coming back is unique. All the others (Anderson Cooper et al) fled after some street scrum or their bosses pulling them out.

I don’t know what she did, or what buttons she pushed somehow, but she really pissed off someone in that creaky police state in both getting detained, and probably whatever interactions she had with those characters while being detained. And to top it off, she’s the only one who after leaving Egypt for whatever security reason, came back.

  10. Sheila Tone says:

“Like, maybe 2% of all rape charges are fake.”

Like, what are you basing that on?

Be as nasty toward me as you want, rabid fanboi, but it doesn’t change the fact that, more than a month later, there is *still* no corroboration of the “brutal and sustained” sexual assault claimed in her press release. It’s cowardly, not brave, to send out a press release and refuse to answer questions or provide corroborating facts. If it had happened, there would be witnesses by now. She’s too famous for people — rescuers, no less! — not to have come forward.

Grecko bent over backward to say what he saw and didn’t see. He interviewed people who saw her delivered intact to soldiers, and those remain the ONLY accounts of her “attack” to date, more than a month later.

Logan’s fans are mainly horny men; she’s not a widely respected reporter. She’s always been tabloid fodder. And as for her reporting, what has she done for us lately? Not much. And now she has an excuse to sit out Libya and stay home with the kid she “accidentally” got pregnant with by a married man. And somehow, without her even filing a story, we’re supposed to consider her a heroine.

She’s getting too old to rely on her horny male fanbase, and she doesn’t have the chops to compete with the likes of Christiane Amanpour on her reporting merits. So it’s either fade away, or find a new schtick. “Brave rape victim” is it. Women feel obligated to feel sorry for her, and CBS will feel obligated to give her cushy treatment.

The really awful disgusting part of her lie is that so many other reporters really were attacked and/or molested over there much worse than she was. They did not send out press releases; they didn’t get calls from Obama. Logan gets to be the poster girl for sexual assault when she suffered, at worst, some groping and pinching. What a disgusting cheat she is.

  11. Sheila Tone says:

“I totally think Lara Logan got messed up. What I’m saying is it was a targeted affair.”

Paul, THERE IS NO EVIDENCE SHE WAS SEXUALLY ATTACKED. NONE. If you want to theorize about why she was shoved by a mob, fine, but there is absolutely no evidence anything sexual happened to her. At best, there was some pinching, as reported by an anonymous medical source in that Brit paper I linked to in an earlier post.

And dozens of other journalists got abused as well. Why is it just Logan you think was targeted? She didn’t have any good leads or stories planned that anyone has heard of.

  12. Sheila Tone says:

“but that a team of at least half a dozen people decided together to blow this story out of proportion”

None of her crew have said anything. That’s another thing that’s so weird. If she was so savaged, you’d think they’d have seen something, at least afterward.

And Grecko is only 40, by the way, he’s not a wild-eyed-old man. But keep up with the insults, rabid fanboi, because it’s all you’ve got to offer. Logan has perpetrated one of the filthiest frauds a woman can.

  13. Sheila Tone says:

Another motive for her lie may have been to justify to CBS why the little wimp fled the country on a chartered jet. Anderson Cooper and his folks stuck around after they were attacked. CBS may not have been happy with her over that, so she exaggerated or invented the sexual element because she knew it would make her bulletproof to criticism. It may not have been her idea to send out the press release.

  14. Paul says:

“THERE IS NO EVIDENCE SHE WAS SEXUALLY ATTACKED. NONE.”

There is no evidence disputing Lara Logan getting really harmed in Tahrir Square. I don’t know if it was sexual in nature – frankly that’s irrelevant – all I am sure of is she was harmed, badly.

We can find all kinds of accounts from people who didn’t see her get injured in the square. Only one person, Temoris Grecko, is on record as having seen her in Tahrir Square at all. And he saw her for maybe ten seconds getting pushed towards the museum. And you can figure out where Logan was in the square from the sign behind her in that infamous photo.

Based on that photo and Grecko’s account, Lara Logan got ‘directed’ over to between the dark construction zone of the new Ritz-Carlton and the blacked-out Arab League building by the people pushing her. And they did that because they didn’t want to be disrupted by jubilant people in the square.

That’s also where the Mubarak crowd was mingling and entering the square across the October 6th Bridge and the now-abandoned military checkpoint by the museum. Lara Logan might have seen the Nile as a prop in that hellish encounter. She was targeted by the goons who had detained her week before (she was the only detained and deported journalist to go back I might add) and were most likely same people who were tailing her after landing.

You don’t think she was trailed by security services after wheels-down in Cairo? After calling the Egyptian Embassy and telling them she was coming back, what flight it was on, where she was staying (you should see the application for press credentials in Egypt from embassy; look it up…they had everything)? In a police state she had already pissed off enough to get deported (only other journalists actually deported were Israeli reporters…look that one up to)?

  15. Paul says:

“If there is disconnect, it exists in CBS’s account as well, because they said the women who supposedly rescued her brought her to soldiers. No one disputes there were soldiers there in some capacity.”

Oh, and I just have to add this one. A big disconnect, perhaps the biggest, is something I didn’t realize. Those checkpoints weren’t manned by soldiers. They were manned by the protesters themselves. Those checkpoints had been set up by various organized factions of the mass-demonstrations in response to the camel-smackdown week before.

And just like that event week before, the military were a neutral bunch in the square. Read Greg Palkot’s experience here http://www.foxnews.com/world/2011/02/04/bloody-cairo-hand-account/ to get idea I think of what Logan would have been dealing with and the way authorities ‘detained’ people. Charter jet makes sense real fast in this context.

  16. stone says:

“There is no evidence disputing Lara Logan getting really harmed in Tahrir Square. I don’t know if it was sexual in nature – frankly that’s irrelevant – all I am sure of is she was harmed, badly.”

This is incorrect, that no evidence disputes it. And I don’t understand why you’re sure she was “really harmed.” The only entity claiming any physical harm on the record is CBS (presumably, due to Logan’s claim). The anonymous medic who supposedly treated her (via the Brit press)said there were injuries consistent with aggressive pinching. There has never been any public statement about what the injuries, if any, were. We just know she checked into the hospital at home, and was OK to walk out of the hotel and fly out on chartered jet soon after the so-called attack.

Remember, the press release only claimed Logan was separated from the crew for 20 to 30 minutes. Whatever happened to her, happened in that short period of time. So it’s unlikely that she was subject to a prolonged assault between the time Grecko saw her, and the time his sources (who are in fact named) saw her delivered to soldiers (or what everyone has called soldiers) in apparently good shape.

The only available evidence strongly suggests thaat Logan hugely exaggerated an incident that consisted of pushing, and possibly some pinching and groping similar to or less than what many other female reporters have endured (but didn’t milk for publicity). It is sickening, the lack of investigation. Journalists aren’t supposed to just swallow press releases.

It’s the way this was reported that makes it so suspect. People just don’t send out unsolicited press releases claiming they were sexually assaulted. *Especially* not reporters! They’re supposed to report the news, not seek out publicity for their own troubles. Anderson Cooper’s attack was on camera and revealed contemporaneously, as part of the story. But Logan waited days, then send out a bid for publicity and refused comment.

And then, to have absolutely no witnesses come forward to a claimed public attack that was a sensation around the world … as a former journalist, it feels like being down the rabbit hole to see no one questioning this.

  17. stone says:

And Paul, do you have any theory as to why Logan of all people would have been singled out by the government? If it were Christiane Amanpour, for example, that theory would make more sense. But Logan’s reporting isn’t really controversial and she returned to Egypt to do a personality profile, for crying out loud.

  18. stone says:

And as far as the “sexual” claim being irrelevant, Paul, well, it may be to you. But I wouldn’t have been nearly as interested and sympathetic, and I suspect that is true of most readers. What got this press release such huge play was the sexual assault claim. Women around the world mistakenly thought she was gang-raped in public, and were horrified.

  19. Paul says:

You know, to answer your points one-by-one lemme see here:

    1. There is no ‘medic’ who claimed those injuries happened to her. Just ‘inside sources.’ Everybody who actually knows Lara Logan – reputable people for the most part – seem to agree she got harmed badly. I haven’t seen anyone who has first-hand information or access to Logan countermand the MSM narrative. This includes competitors like Anderson Cooper and Greg Palkot who really don’t have an interest in ‘protecting’ her, quite the opposite really.

    2. I don’t have a good theory of why Logan would get singled out. But for whatever she’s one of those characters that elicits a strong response out of people. Just looking at and posting on message boards like this one demonstrate Logan seems to have qualities that make people really hate her or really like her. The reason doesn’t have to be rational and I don’t think it was. I think some Egyptian let it get personal.

    3. In so much as anything sexual going on with Logan attack, I think CBS was covering its bases worried all to heck there was video out there somewhere of the event. And they were covering their bases in as ambiguous and elastic statement as possible. And the notion of absolute horrors spreading around the internet, that’s more people projecting their own thoughts on the event, and on Ms. Logan as seems to be normal with people reacting to her. I frankly had no idea who Lara Logan was before this. I don’t know if I would personally like her or not, I really don’t know. To me she’s just there. But its been quite interesting watching other people either swoon or be utterly repelled by Lara Logan. And the official story itself is just full of holes, and I do wonder about the who and why of what happened there in Tahrir Square.

And Logan is coming back into the public eye. She gave a keynote at American University Thursday before last one to a university confab in Washington D.C. She didn’t even acknowledge these recent events, and I think that’s the way she wants it to be, as well as the US and Egyptian governments.

  20. stone says:

“And Logan is coming back into the public eye. She gave a keynote at American University Thursday before last one to a university confab in Washington D.C. She didn’t even acknowledge these recent events, and I think that’s the way she wants it to be, as well as the US and Egyptian governments.”

Of course it’s the way she wants it to be. She loves the public eye, and she won’t bring up the events because she doesn’t want to be questioned. She got the standing ovation of a survivor. She got her fix of publicity, she silenced all the feminists and others who rightfully consider her a brainless bimbo (because now we have to be nice to her because she’s a “victim”), and now she wants to walk away with her dirty, ill-gotten gains.

Paul wrote: “And they were covering their bases in as ambiguous and elastic statement as possible.”

“Brutal and sustained sexual attack” is ambiguous? I disagree. They had to know the huge emotion that would provoke from the public, especially women and (male) Logan fans.

Still, still, a month and a half later, NO VIDEO, no witnesses, except those who saw her delivered to doctors in good shape, protected by the crowd. There’s just no way this happened anything like her press release said. CBS sent it out the reason anyone sends out a press release — publicity. They had no reason to be “scared” of a video, it just would have been more sympathy and publicity for her.

Paul wrote: “Everybody who actually knows Lara Logan – reputable people for the most part – seem to agree she got harmed badly. It’s irrelevant that “reputable” people “agree” with her. They are not witnesses. Why do you think they have “access,” do you think they’re demanding answers in private? No, they’re just commenting on the press release. You’re wrong that they don’t have a motive to pump her up — other media figures like Cooper can’t do anything but sympathize unquestioningly with her, because they’d be creamed publicly if they did otherwise. Look what happened to Nir Rosen, he was forced to leave his position, although it looks as if he was right, she was just groped like many other journalists.

Logan should be fired for her filthy lie. But no one wants to question it, because there’s too much to lose from being perceived as unsympathetic to rape victims.

  21. stone says:

“To me she’s just there. But its been quite interesting watching other people either swoon or be utterly repelled by Lara Logan. ”

Paul, it’s difficult to believe you’re not a male admirer of hers. You seem to know a lot about her. But that aside, there’s no mystery as to why people feel strongly about this story. Women hate rape, and have the instinct to automatically side with victims. And yet, we don’t like bimbos, and Logan is one of them. She is a mediocre reporter who would not have her job if not for her face and fake boobs. Men like sexy women with fake boobs, so she has male fans who are protective of her.

  22. Paul says:

Hey! That’s cool you responded stone. I’ve checked back on this thread off-and-on for awhile because I like the conversation going on here. Anyways, to wit:

“CBS sent it out the reason anyone sends out a press release — publicity.”

Nope. CBS (and Logan) tried to keep a lid on it until they realized an Australian reporter working for AU’s Channel 7 was running the story. How that reporter got a whiff of what happened to Logan while on the ground in Egypt that night is probably interesting story in itself.

“Of course it’s the way she wants it to be. She loves the public eye, and she won’t bring up the events because she doesn’t want to be questioned.”

You know, there’s just no way to tell there. If she was brutalized and humiliated by a wild mob or if what happened to Logan was as you describe the reticence to wallow in the event publicly would be there either way.

“Why do you think they have “access,” do you think they’re demanding answers in private? No, they’re just commenting on the press release.”

When I say ‘access’ I mean people who actually know Lara Logan. Nobody who actually knows her, or knows of what happened, countermands the general idea Lara Logan really suffered something terrible in Tahrir Square. And she’s got professional ‘enemies’ all over the place. If there was even a whiff of what you describe, I’d suspect Rolling Stone amongst others would love to blow Lara Logan’s credibility out of the water with info like that. Absolutely.

“Paul, it’s difficult to believe you’re not a male admirer of hers.”

You know, the whole male-response thing in me is what piqued my interest in this event to begin with. You’re absolutely right on that. But its not why I remain interested in it, and I’m not a big admirer of Lara Logan.

To critique her professionally, I would say Lara Logan is technically a good journalist. And she is brave for putting herself in those situations again and again. But her general narrative is FOX-newsish (I’m amazed she doesn’t work there, actually). And Logan’s outburst and tribalism over the Rolling Stone article that tanked McCrystal was frankly laughable and catty. She manipulates men around her to get what she wants, including people in her stories; people who think otherwise are not being objective.

I can see why people like you hate Lara Logan. But I would contend the narrative in your head about Logan’s night in Tahrir is informed by that tremendous dislike; and disbelief such a manipulative character could ever be deserving of sympathy. I can empathize with that, I’ve been there about other people…though not a public figure.

I can also see why she has so many fanboys. Guns and legs? Teenager’s dream, right? Again, why the hell she’s not on FOX News is a mystery unto itself. They seem made for each other.

And just for the record, my favorite blonde South African sex-object is actually paid to be a sex-object and she’s rather good at it, much better than Lara Logan: Victoria’s Secret’s Candice Swanepoel. 😉

  23. stone says:

Paul wrote: “I can see why people like you hate Lara Logan. But I would contend the narrative in your head about Logan’s night in Tahrir is informed by that tremendous dislike; and disbelief such a manipulative character could ever be deserving of sympathy.”

You are wrong about that (and sorry it took me so long to write back). Remember, the reason I started checking up on her story was because I was sympathetic to her, and horrified at some of her misogynist critics who said she deserved it. It was the facts, and only the facts, that made me suspicious.

Although I acknowledge I “loved to hate” Logan in a previous post, I never really researched her until this. The more I find out, the more disgusted I am. But my suspicion is well-founded, especially after that bullshit 60 Minutes interview she gave.

I disagree that her professional enemies would love to leap all over this. That story is poison. Women hate hearing sexual assault victims’ credibility questioned; the fanbois who dig her fake boobs will put their capes on too tight and come out swinging. And there is no way to prove conclusively that absolutely nothing bad happened to her. She probably did endure some mild groping, based on how male crowds in the Arabic world treat women. Saying she hugely exaggerated it and milked it for publicity just isn’t as good as if we could prove, for example, that she wasn’t even there.

I am angry, however, that “such a manipulative character” tricked me into getting all upset and sympathizing with her. For a little while, I fell for her bullshit. Lara Logan conned me, and for that I want revenge. I want her exposed, I want her fired, I want her ridiculed.
